What is Spiritual Guidance?

A subtle inner knowing, Spiritual Guidance can come to light in thought form, a feeling, vision, or a sound. Spiritual Guidance may come from anyone with a message to share to you, as well as received from self.  If you’ve ever had an “Ah Ha” moment, where you absolutely know something to be true, it originates from your innate truth in which your connection to the divine is enabling you to see, sense or know the truth. It can be felt as a feeling in the heart or solar plexus area, heard as an inner voice, or seen as a vision.

Innate knowing is like a cloudy or rainy day; the Sun still exists and is always shining bright. It only appears as though the Sun is gone. In parting the clouds, you allow your inner Sun to shine bright, inherently know the solution to a dilemma, and have greater clarity for staying on-track in the discovery of your dreams. Interestingly, you may also discover that what you thought was the primary challenge or hindrance in your life may altogether be something different. It is common to expose an underlying issue that was invisible or which previously appeared insignificant.

Where is the Spirit world when we cross over?

The Spirit dimension is not a separate place, yet rather is all around us. When we cross over, we leave our physical form, shedding our skin, and return to our original, natural state of Spirit. Everything is energy and all energy vibrates at a frequency. Vibrations on this planet are slower and denser, while Spirit vibrates at a higher rate. We are all interconnected, yet the different energy vibration gives us the impression or illusion that our worlds are separated. This is the furthest from the truth.

Are Spirits connected to us always?

Our family and loved ones in Spirit are available anytime to connect with us. Much like if we want to communicate with someone who is physically alive, we telephone, email, write or meet in person. We simply reach out and request a meeting or conversation.

Do our Spirit friends assist us in life?

Yes, most definitely. Spirits may assist, support, inspire and love us. It is, however, not their responsibility to tell us what to do. We may consult Spirit for guidance, while taking responsibility for our decisions and related actions.

Is it possible for Spirits to connect with more than one person at a time?

Yes, absolutely. The wonderful news is we are multi-dimensional beings. We are not limited to single encounters because we are energy and energy is everywhere. The fact that we are energy beings does not change when we leave our physical forms. Have you ever had a déjà vu, a feeling as if you’ve been someplace or met someone before? Your experience in a given moment feels familiar? Because we are energy, our energy can be in more than one place at a time. It is not necessary to worry about “hogging” the company of our loved one in Spirit.

Does everyone have the gift of mediumship?

Yes. Each of us is born with an innate, natural intuitive ability to interface and receive messages, guidance and inspiration from Spirit. Information may also feel as though it’s coming from your higher self, that part of you that is open and clear to receive TRUE and AUTHENTIC information. The degree to which we consider ourselves a Medium is directly related to our intent, openness, passion for which we are to share our uniqueness with others, and much more.

How do we enhance our intuitive nature and ability to interpret messages?

There are many ways. The more we increase our bodymind awareness, the greater our connection to self.

In my experience, the greatest and most direct way to sharpen our intuition is to hold the intention while learning the art of surrender and acceptance of our whole being. Increasing awareness of the subtle signals our body is speaking and the emotions we feel, will enhance our ability to intuit or interpret messages to assist all aspects of our life and the people around us.

How do we fine-tune awareness?

Meditation, Bodywork, and Breath work have been a powerful combination approach to expanding my inner awareness. Working at the cellular level in the body helps to expand inner awareness, enabling you to feel, see, hear sense and access your innate knowingness. All the answers reside within. Meditation, Bodywork and Breath Work assist us to deeply relax and surrender, transforming held tension, pain and trauma, while cleansing and clearing the body, mind and heart – enabling life-force energy to flow!

Does one have to be still to Meditate? Are there various forms of Meditation?

Stillness is one form of Meditation. There are many forms. For example, “active dynamic” meditation is where the body is moving, dancing, breathing, chanting or whatever helps you experience your body. Rebirthing, also referred to as “The Breath of Life” or "Conscious Connected Breathing", is a powerful form of breathing meditation.
